"The property was nicely decorated and within walking distance of the major attractions in Siena. Not sure if it is an Italian thing, but, the ones we have stayed at don’t provide soap for showering. Only downside, and that is not too important. "

"Did not realize that the shared bathroom was for all rooms in the hotel not just two adjoining rooms. Quite a hike up the the floor the hotel is located on. Otherwise we found the facilites very clean and the staff ere very helpful and courteous. Location was excellent and our overall experience very positive."

"What a find! You’d never know that a lovely well appointed home away from home boutique hotel is behind the wooden door right inside the Via Romano gate. Our rooms were clean and bright with a view of Siena. Our host Ana was so attentive to our needs and gave us great recommendations. Breakfast was varied and abundant and served by another Ana who was very helpful too! With only four rooms, it felt like an oasis away from the Siena hustle and bustle. "Room was very basic with no tea/coffee making facilities. There was a shared kitchen with lots of unopened packets left inside the cupboard above the cooker. Pool was lovely and great views from the communal area.The TV in the room was very small and the volume wasnt loud enough to hear over the air conditioning. The air conditioning was very poor. "Bathroom could really be a lot cleaner. It’s a walk-up to the room on 2nd floor, but not bad unless you have a lot of luggage. The room itself is comfortable and the kitchen facilities are pretty good. I missed having a window in the room I could look out of, but also appreciated the peace and quiet. Can’t complain much about the kitchen, it has most of what you need, but there should really be a wine bottle opener. This is Italy after all. :)"
