"We’ve stayed in Cooma a number of times but this was our first time staying at Altair - it’s definitely our favourite, and we’ll definitely be back! Great location; great sized rooms; well-appointed kitchenette; friendly hosts; and we got to enjoy some of the fireworks from the Cooma Show"

"We thought the lady who checked us in was very welcoming, helpful and efficient. All the information was texted to us and very straightforward. The bathroom did not have much room for our toiletries etc. Bed small but comfortable. The shelf above the fridge could be dangerous bending down."

"We had everything we needed to complete the Snowy Alpine Trail at Stillwell. A comfy bed and a warm shower at the end of the trail each day. The food was good considering we stayed out of snow season and there was only one person in the kitchen. The salad was fresh and chicken cooked well. Only a few meals available but they were cooked well. Staff were lovely at all times. Wine and beer was cold! Highly recommend Stillwell for being handy to walk the trails nearby."

"Easy access a bit disappointing that no one was at the desk but my key was there and I found my room easily. Rooms very well presented and I would say here again for sure."

"ROOM 6 The normal way I rate a room is the shower hot water and great water pressure and a comfortable bed, and a quite air-conditioning this room rated fantastic with all the boxes ticked."
