A hidden gem on the country side
Marie Jo is an excellent host, fresh baked bread, handmade jams and farm eggs, what a treat! A peaceful place to stay just o the side of Saint Elophe old church a gem full of hiking routes 10 minutes from Joan of Arc’s birthplace and museum and an excellent gourmet restaurant Le Bois Chenu, chef Vincent D. Affordable prices and great view of the valley, we enjoyed a lot our experience and our host advices and hospitality, a place to come back by sure!

Fabulous place
A beautiful place in a fairly remote quiet area. Fabulous setting, driving through quiet countryside. The room and facilities were huge. The breakfast was excellent. Homemade bread was so delicious, as was the homemade jams etc. Billy the setter was an added bonus, such a friendly boy

Brilliant all round.
Great place; great value. Marie-Jo was absolutely brilliant and made us most welcome, with great home-made apple juice. Breakfast was brilliant and included home-made jams, brioche and yogurt, with milk and eggs from her farm. 👌🙏

Ideal stopover on way to French Alps.
Pleasant, comfortable bedroom with separate toilet and shower rooms. Hostess was very friendly and breakfast was good. On our two night stay we had two lovely meals in the Restaurant Le Bois Chenu, next to the Basilica. Lots of places of interest to visit in the area.

Man fühlt sich willkommen im Land der Jeanne
Ein wunderbarer, authentischer Ort! Man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Die Zimmer sind gross und alles ist vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist köstlich (hausgemacht!) und die Familie hat uns und unser Hund herzlich empfangen. Ein Plus für die friedliche Terrasse mit Aussicht auf ein kleines Tälchen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

As a non european tourist, i like this house/hotel. The owner is a lovely lady that welcome me with a fresh apple juice from the farm. You can experience the peace of the farm in france, with a 100 mt near old church , that makes you feel in the early middle ages. In the morning we have a homemade breakfast that was very good. So if you like different experiences than the typical hotel in the middle of the city , i recomend it.

Phantastisch!
Die Gastgeber waren zugewandt und unfassbar freundlich. In den Hund haben wir uns verliebt. Es ist sehr ruhig dort, eine tolle Luft und ein wahnsinnig liebevolles Frühstück: mit eigener Milch, selbstgemachtem Joghurt, selbstgemachter Marmelade. Wir sind sehr glücklich und fahren jetzt erholt weiter.

Toller Zwischenstopp
Wir haben diese Unterkunft als Zwischenstopp an die Cote dÁzur gewählt und bekamen 100% was wir erwartet hatten: Gut von der Autobahn erreichbar, in einem kleinen Dorf mitten in einer schönen Gegend: Sauberes Zimmer, haben im Bett gut und fest geschlafen und morgens gab es im Frühstücksraum ein Frühstück mit selbstgemachten oder aus der Nachbarschaft bezogenen Eiern, Marmelade. Brioche und Baguettes waren frisch gebacken und der Apfelsaft ein Gedicht. Das Gastgeber-Ehepaar war super freundlich. Zum Abendessen waren wir in den 8km entfernten Nachbarort Neufchateau gefahren, wo es mehrere Restaurants gibt und wo wir im Evidence günstig und lecker gespeist haben.

Spacieux, Propre, Authentique et Chaleureux !
Je recommande vivement cet hébergement. Salle de bain et wc privatif (wc séparé de la salle de bain) avec en bonus une terrasse et une superbe vue. Une chambre et salle de bain spacieuse et très fonctionnelle propre authentique avec une touche rustique (pour la chambre) et actuelle (pour la salle de bain). Un petit réfrigérateur disponible dans l'espace commun, placé je crois spécifiquement pour les hôtes et j'ai cru voir aussi un four à micro-onde et plaque de cuisson et une bouilloire. (en tout cas le réfrigérateur m'a été très utile...MERCI) Le calme et la tranquillité ainsi que la discrétion des responsables du lieu. Un très bonne accueil sympathique et chaleureux. Je reviendrais lors de mon prochain passage.
