"I was using the Ox Hotel Manchester as a base for attending a conference (in a venue just 5 mins walk away so that was very helpful). Rooms are basic but very clean. Good shower, comfy bed. The room had plenty of plug sockets and lighting options. The stairwells give away that this building was not originally designed as a hotel. They are tired and dated but still clean.
