"I spent 2 blissful nights relaxing here in a panoramic ocean view room which definitely lived up to its name with spectacular views free rom large windows and a balcony. The restaurant and rooftop bar/ lounge are super friendly and the live music on one night was amazing! The infinity rooftop pool was refreshing and again... those views is Hotel has an elevator which is an added bonus too and there is a free shuttle to Jungle Beach!"

"We had a good time at DCanal. The property is nicely decorated, is very clean and has a lovely pool and garden. To say the staff were great would be an understatement. They were very friendly and always checking if we needed anything. The buffet breakfast was lovely and freshly prepared every morning. My only critique of this property is it is a 15min walk to the town & beach but they do provide a free tuk tuk service from 10am to 7 pm. The beach bar pictures shown here are not on this...

"It’s a hidden Gem in Kandy. Wow what an amazing and most inspiring and magical boutiques hotel. We had a Beautiful modern room with a fantastic view of the city . Wish we had another day to spend in this hotel . The staff and manager went out of their way to serve us and beautifully decorated and very homely 👍. "We stayed at the Poomaz Peace palace for 3 nights. The accommodation is within minutes of the main street and because of the close proximity you can hear the live music each night. However the music usually does stop by 23:00. The room was spacious and clean and offers a fridge, kettle, hair dryer, soap, towels and has a shared balcony where breakfast is served each morning. "Isolée au fond d une toute petite impasse cette guesthouse est protégée des bruits de la rue. Accueil souriante de la gérante un bébé dans les bras qui pleurera toute la nuit événement isolé évidemment. Première nuit dans la chambre du RdC sans fenêtre ou il a fallu réclamer la clim pourtant comprise dans ma réservation, plutôt bruyante donc. "Really beautiful view and lovely location, even with the occasional train passing by (if anything, it added to the charm). Very kind and helpful hosts, who loaned their umbrellas to us and accommodated our last minute change of breakfast time when we were running late from a morning hike. They also packed our breakfast to go when we checked out early on our last day. Walking along the train tracks is by far the best way to get to town and back in under 10 minutes. "Le personnel est difficile à appeler car il ne sont pas disponibles même s'ils sont là et ils ne parlent pas anglais, pas de conversation possible. Nous ne nous sommes pas sentis accueillis. Entre les avions, les coqs qui chantent et les chiens c'est bruyant. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas normal trop sec il y a seulement 2 tranches de pain de mie avec un œuf et 2 petites bananes. "I normally don’t write a reviews but this was the worst accommodation so I decided to write. I’m traveling all around Asia and this was the most stressful experience I’ve ever had in my life. First of all, room is not clean at all, towels smells awful ( it’s like someone’s already use it before), many ants climbing up on bed, and the worst thing is so many species of insects.
