"The hotel and the grounds were full of character. The bathroom was incredible. However, the issue was the noise. Needs some serious sound proofing. The room was above reception and was incredibly noisy. Also, the room lacked services considering the price per night. Limited drinks available, and had to ask for bathrobes. "

"The Night potter wasn't helpful. Didn't give proper directions to get to the room. We arrived by 8 pm but the room wasn't ready which was okay as the lady receptionist was nice. She advised us the night potter would make up our room. We arrived later and check in with him. He just gave us the keys, didn't tell us where the room was. We proceed to wonder around trying to find our room. So we asked him on the way, he said take a left at the door and it is just there. And that he had told me...

"We only stayed one night for our daughter’s 8th birthday shopping trip, the staff decorated our room with ballooons and confetti and made a cake from towels! Absolutely incredible service. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to stay in Bristol. The room is clean and tidy, and the bed was the comfiest I have stayed in! All shampoo and conditioner and body was is supplied too. Staff are so friendly. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the food did look amazing! "

"Overall it was good. I did have, however a malfuntion with the toliet/bathroom on my final night's stay with you guys but I did inform a memebrr of staff about it, so that i didnt check out and the next guest had to deal with the issue. But it was perfect for my purpose of staying."

"Whilst on this occasion things didn’t go as planned, I still couldn’t fault the staff on the way they sorted the issue quickly and generously. It was a trip away for my birthday and everyone went out of their way to make my stay memorable for all the right reasons. Amazing food, delightful surroundings, excellent staff, couldn’t fault our stay. "Easy checkin. Room looked clean apart from stains on the carpet. Daily room service & fresh towels. Convenient location for us. Would stay again. We were told breakfast was served from 8 - 10am. However on the morning we decided to take breakfast, the cereals, tea,coffee etc were cleared away by 9.30. The cooked breakfast was good but would have liked another drink after it!"
