"This was booked as a private Villa with its own private pool, however we were disturbed by the owner entering the villa without being invited in which was very unnerving, especially when you open your bedroom curtains to find the owner outside your patio doors looking in. However, this is a fantastic villa and we had a really enjoyable relaxing stay. "

"Had an absolutely wonderful time at Bondalem Beach Club. The staff was amazing and did everything they could to make sure my stay was a joy. So much so, they climbed a tree to get me a fresh coconut. The rooms are spacious, welcoming and beautiful. The pools are spectacular. The sunrises/sunsets from my room’s patio were a dream. I highly recommend BBC if you need a quiet, beautiful and relaxing getaway. "

"Summary We'd recommend the Bamboo house for one night specifically to the do the hike only. Go for the cheapest room. We booked two nights at the bamboo house, via Hotels.com, with the idea of hiking Mount Batur. Presumably like many other people visiting the area. We booked the king size deluxe room, the one with the triangular bamboo ceiling/roof, which was twice the price of a standard room. When we arrived we were shown to a standard room. "Very friendly helpful staff. The grounds and casitas are nice and the views of the lake and volcano are really nice. Of course, the flies are incessant in the morning. "If you are searching for total isolation, this villa is right up your alley. There are no taxi services and no restaurants other than the villa’s which has limited meal options. The villa is located in a farming and very poor part of Bali. The flies are constant which makes sitting outside uncomfortable. For meals, we ate in our room so as to elude them. We had three nights booked but only stayed for two."

"We stayed here while we are at UBUD. They are very friendly and well-maintained hotel. I loved the staffs who was very kind and nice! They also have pretty garden and swimming pool. But we didn’t have a chance to get in there. Tell you the truth, you have no time to stay at the hotel because the city is too much things to do. There was a small sewer issues but they came and fix right away. Only one concern was the air conditioning system. Likely other south Asian countries, they don’t clean the filter that often so it could smell fungus a little bit. But it was much better than other hotels. Breakfast area was authentic and nice!! They are not the buffet style but the quality of the food was healthy and yum!!! We loved it! I think I wanna stay here again when I visit Bali next time! "

Very special place!

"An all round amazing stay! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was FANTASTIC; comfy large bed, great size balcony and fruit plates!! We had an elephant directly outside our room but could see 5 in the mornings. The park itself is beyond words; the elephant interactions are next level but the grounds a alaso beautiful, so many different plants and little hidden benches all through the park. Not sure wgat happened to the buffet breakfast as was advertised on the menu but we were told they only have buffet lunch.. ala carte menu was still great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MAGICAL EXPERIENCE IF YOU LOVE ELEPHANTS!!!"

"This is the most beautiful setting imaginable! The view of the jungle rain Forrest from our room balcony was breathtaking with the sounds of birds, crickets and other wildlife. The art, service, room, were all of the highest quality! Be aware that the pathways between reception and restaurant and room are very steep. The hotel is very happy to take you from place to place via golf carts, though. The nature of this setting is remote, so there is not other restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a shuttle to town. It is truly a jewel for a remote but luxurious getaway. We will be back and stay longer!"

"The staff is really attentive to ALL of your needs. All staff was professional and if they didn't have the answer they were eager to get it for you. Lia, Warwan, Dewa, Risky, and Wendhi, are what make this property a truly mesmerizing experience for your trip. They go above and beyond providing you with exemplary customer service. These 5 people make this proerty what it is. Very clean rooms, and property. The restaurants provide a wide array of choices and the views are to die for. We definitely will be returning. "

"We had the most amazing time at Hanging Gardens of Bali. It's a stunning location with friendly staff, incredible food, and beautiful views. We were welcomed with marigold garlands and drinks, and the service was exceptional. We also tried the spa services, and the massage and bath were both relaxing and unique. This is a must-visit place to stay in Ubud, and I highly recommend it!"
