"We stayed overnight at the Coco Palm Beach prior to flying back to Bangkok on a trip to Koh Phangnan. The accommodations are clean and very well-maintained, and the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of food, although heavily weighted towards western dishes. The omelette chef was a very welcome feature! Transportation from and two the Samui airport was effortless and timely. After Thong Sala beach in Koh Phangnan, Haad Maenam is a disappointment. "Our private pool and good bathroom leading to large outdoor shower made it very inviting. Definitely worth paying the little bit extra for. Far enough from the main road to be nice and quiet, super beach and walking distance to the ferry pier. They are closing soon to upgrade but I only saw some minor plumbing issues that needed attention. "

"This property is a good hotel just not a great hotel. The rooms are well appointed and clean and the bohemian vibe good but the bathrooms could use some work. Shower water pressure and drainage very poor. Also be careful at the restaurant… most of the staff exceptional except for Danny the French restaurant manager. Spent 4 days there and we were never acknowledged, I guess we weren’t important enough as we saw him schmoozing other guests….Disappointing!"
