"Comfortable stay once the heating kicked in. The hotel was booked in the premise that on Hotels.com showed that it had access to gym facilities. Upon arrival, it was explained this was not the case. "Nice enough and we were well looked after. Our room was rough around the edges, with a view over a site yard which had trucks running their engine below and smoke blowing in. Hotel was very quiet so service was minimal but good when accessible. No access to any of the grander rooms with views over the gardens. "

"Both the chord for the window blind and the light in the bathroom had snapped off. You had to be a least 5 foot tall to turn it on. I had to pull the bed out to plug my bedside lamp in. There were not enough electrical points in the room. They were not doing breakfasts either which was disappointing. The overall appearance would be described as tatty especially the bathroom with tatty paint work on the door surrounds and radiator. The shower was good the beds clean and the towels were fresh."

"What an amazing location, set in the middle of an expanse of fields my as I drove down the road that leads to the mill there were rabbits, deer and pheasants scattering in front of the car. The gardens and pond are beautiful and the room perfectly clean and the mill has been renovated to an incredibly high standard.
