"This hotel is for you if you want a rustic experience in the middle of the mountains on a very winding, steep and narrow road. I had a business meeting in the nearby town of Cours and thought that this little hotel would be a good place for the night before. It was fine for a one night stay but would be not so great for longer. "We had such a lovely stay. The grounds were beautifully kept, was stunning to be surrounded by vines. The Chateau was like something out of a Disney movie. Would highly recommended staying and I will be returning. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. "

"This place is a no frills budget hotel and I knew that when I booked it so I can’t really complain. But a few little things could have been done better. When we arrived there was no one to check us in. "Surprisingly, no lift but reception was prompt to switch our arthritic selves to ground floor. Bar had excellent, reasonably-priced local wines (Beaujolais Villages) & on-site restaurant had Canette des Dombes."
