"We stayed at the Hotel Aliai for about 4 nights. The rooms were very nice, clean and big. The staff was absolutely amazing, very happy and couldn't do enough to help and ensure that we had a good stay. The hotel is situated so that it is easy traveling distance to the Marsala region as well as Agrigento. The town of Sciacca is lovely with some pretty impressive restaurants. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again."

There were a couple of bars nearby. It was a little walk into the main town you could take a short cut climbing a good number of stairs. The Melqart Hotel is a lovely place to stay it would be even better if there was some outdoor space or a little bar area. "

The owner is very kind-hearted and has a wonderful book of old Sciacca in case you are looking for clues about your family’s roots. Shes makes your coffee by hand in the morning and is happy to make suggestions or leave you in peace. Breakfast is a nice buffet of local baked goodies, cheese, ham, eggs. "

"The property is on a pedestrian only street which made it very quiet and walkable. The city parking lot is a short walk away if you have a car. Don't pay attention to GPS when you get there because it will keep telling you to turn down the road, which is pedestrian only."

"First of all the apartment was extraordinary. The place was thoroughly decorated in a wonderful MENA theme in keeping with the Tunisian vibe in the neighborhood. It was a really remarkable place with great amenities including a full kitchen stocked with snacks, coffee, tea, etc and even a washer. The owners were also wonderfully helpful and went above and beyond helping me get my iPad fixed and even taking me to the bus station. I can’t recommend this place enough. The room was spotless and beautiful with an amazing view of the city and see. There were also two lovely roof terraces to relax. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
