"Located less than 5 minutes from Danmarksplass tram stop (on the direct line from the airport to Bergen city centre), this was in the perfect location for me. The hotel was clean, felt safe and was a very good price. It was unusual to not have a TV in the room - but I didn't need on anyway. The hotel had a luggage storeroom which I was able to access before check-in - this allowed me to drop my bags mid-morning and go into the city centre for the day. "Exceptionally clean room and comfortable beds. Very sufficient and nutritious breakfast. Worth noting that it is a bit far from the city center and on Sundays the bus runs only every 30min, but the breakfast makes up for this along with the proximity to mountain walking trails up the mountain. The hostel seems to double for student accommodation, so this can lead to noisy behaviour from students. "

"Good overall. Only problem was the electric car charger at the hotel. We paid 200 NOK for charging overnight the car but their charger was not working. No energy added. They did not believed my car did not charge and did not give any refund. If you need to charge, better to select another hotel or charge somewhere else. Even if you have pictures with date & time, they do not believe the customer... Sad."

And the proprietors are caring, warm and everything one would want in a place to stay. Sitting outside with a capuccino looking out at the fjord as the sun sets--- Wow. We will go back as soon as we can."
