"When we arrived they claimed they didn’t have our booking, they then tried to put us in a room that was of a lower standard than we had paid for, we had to insist, unfortunately communication was very poor. This lack of communication made everything very difficult and frustrating. We booked one of the cottages, which are located on the roof, this resulted in us hearing road noise 24/7 Breakfast was very disappointing, we ended up only eating once at the hotel. The bathroom had no storage...

"Umah Anila was the first of 4 home stays I used while in Indonesia and it was very nice. The family is lovely, the premises are clean and it is located close to everything in Ubud but not loud (except for the roosters….welcome to Bali!). I enjoyed the banana pancakes and fresh fruit in the morning. I stayed in room 2…. the shower drained, the a/c worked well and the soap and shampoo/cond in pumps is a lovely touch.
