"This used to be my goto place in Aalen, but in the last year or so, its gone way downhill. The people have become much less friendly, and are actually rude; and the place is getting run down - you can see it in the paint on the walls, stains on the carpet, etc. Breakfast is nothing special at all. "We were so disappointed with this hotel. It is NOT near Aalen. It needs so much work. It looks like it might have been busy at some point but it feels like a ghost hotel. Our room had one small comforter. No towels. No glasses. 2 pillows. A refrigerator that did not work. The washer dryer area for the hotel is dirty and pathetic. "We had room number 5, which was a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen and balcony. It had a separate dining area and 2 couches. The bathroom was large and each room offered a nice view. Our hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that at 6 am the nearby church bells went off for what seemed like a few minutes without letup and that woke us all up. "
