We didn’t meet the owner either who, when we phoned him, we were told he’d made an ‘error’, and that was the end of the conversation. Perhaps a mistake, but probably not, and the inconvenience of having to find other accommodation at 8.00 in the evening was unbelievable (Corte has real accommodation shortages). "What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways.
