"Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful little town. The property was charming and well equipped. I would suggest reviewing the bed itself, it was hard as a rock and we had back pain. Also consider adding two more pillows. Would be nice to have some basic body wash in the shower. Did provide hand soap. Other than that, well equipped kitchen, comfortable, excellent lighting and communication with us was excellent and timely. It was all in Portuguese so don’t know about English being spoken. Keep in mind you must have a vehicle, no sidewalks here but there are nice cafes nearby. "

"Excellent hotel matched by value for money. It is fairly new, well managed and cared for. Located in a central place in Santo Tirso itself. First impressions make you think the bed will be squeaky and it can be a little but the mattress is extremely comfortable. A great night sleep. The rooms are a good size, well looked after with a great shower. There is also a useful mini fridge in the room. Staff are always polite and helpful. I don’t usually choose the breakfast option as I prefer to go to the supermarket and have my own choices in my room. Very happy every stay time i stay in this hotel. "

When we looked at the pictures on the website, we were pleased with everything and booked reservation with high expectations. But when we came to the location, our expectations were surpassed. Super-clean room, a mind-blowing interior, and a view from the balcony. Excellent accommodation! I had a feeling that we were staying at the house of very good friend. I definitely recommend the place to anyone who is looking for a romantic place. Five start for me. "

"It was a Big surprise when we pulled up in front of the property! This was a 17th Century “Casa” which is still owned by the members of the founding family. It was like entering a museum. There were original portraits of the family going back 4-5?generations. Original furniture. The hostess was very kind and the breakfasts were delicious with fruit, cheese, meat, fresh fruit, local artisan baked goods 2 kinds of juice , coffee and teas. Could not have asked for more! Would highly recommend this place to anyone! "

"This property is amazing! It reminds me of something out of a fairy tale. Our room was unique and beautifully decorated. The staff was exceptional. She told us about the history of the property, showed us to our room and made our dinner reservations at a wonderful local restaurant. And then there was breakfast, which was just fabulous.
