"Gerl Hotel is a place not only to sleep while travelling but to spend time in the hotel as well. It has a great resturant and the breakfast was very tasty with a wide variety of dishes. Shame the main spa (which is spectacular) opens only at 11:00 and closes at 20:00. "

"The property and room were fine, but due to the summer weather, we needed to keep the windows open for airflow. Unfortunately, our room faced the street, and it was a very busy street with traffic noice all night. For a future stay, I would request a room that is not street facing to minimize noice level."

"Excellent room. Great breakfast…. Only thing is they wanted cash for the city tax. I walked all over the are looking for an ATM. NOPE! found one. Didn’t recognize my card! Uffff … they finally accepted debit card for city tax upon checkout… but I was t going to pay 25€ in Ubers to get 3,50€ in cash!"

"After a long day of travelling to be able to walk out of the station and straight in to the hotel was fabulous. Room was lovely, and easy to walk into town or catch the bus. Shopping centre next door was really convenient too. Staff very friendly. The view of the city at breakfast was beautiful would definately stay again! "

"It was a quick stay for our family (2 adults and 2 kids) but we found the beds to be really comfortable and the morning breakfast was excellent! The person at the front desk was really helpful and happy to provide tips and suggestions on what to do for the day we wanted to spend in Salzburg. I recommend!"
