"Life House Berkshires looks great, but no one actually works there. Or at least that's how it seemed during our stay. I never got the welcome text they said I would get to be able to communicate with staff. I called the 800 number once to try to get someone and couldn't get a person. I finally did get a person the next time I tried that number and that was to tell them that when we came back for the day after housekeeping had been there, our sink was clogged with muddy water. "We had a great stay. Pool was great, room was good, the pull out couch was a little uncomfortable, but when aren't they. The game room needed updating as one arcade machine was broken. Kitchen was great in the room, and the whole hotel had a good vibe to it!"

"Had to work for the day at Ski Butternut. Pros: Proximity to mountain and town, clean, friendly & accommodating staff, chargers for EVs, fitness 24/7, Barrington Brewery literally across the street for nice pub fare meal. Cons: none Food: N/A (left for work super early, but it smelled good! lol) Tips: make sure your room doesn't share a wall with the emergency stairs. Rumbles the wall and anything attached. Staff took care of a switch immediately. Would stay again for leisure."

"Property isn’t pet friendly, it’s dog friendly. We use Expedia for all our bookings but told by hotel the policy is more restrictive than Expedia indicates. Best Western shouldn’t accept reservations from Expedia that don’t conform to your actual policy. The manager was kind enough to work it out for us but it would be better for all to put the burden on the business offering service, not the consumer trying to make the best choice for their needs. "

"Nice place to stay. Several good eateries and other shopping within a few miles, not far from Holyoke mall (one of the areas largest). Minutes from the Big "E" (Eastern States Exposition) grounds. Only real complaint: the room's two rolling desk chairs are extremely uncomfortable for sitting more than a few minutes at a time."
