Serving as a College & Seminary upon its completion in 1826. Then converted into a hospital for both sides (North & South) during the Civil War. As well as housing orphaned boys under the care of The Sisters of Charity. Presently, Today the Oscar Getz Whisky Museum occupies the main floor. Immersing its guest in rich Kentucky culture! To start off our tour you will be enjoying a fresh baked biscuit from local baker, Lisa Reed Sheckles & Famous Jake’s Country Sausage.

The only brewery in the city of Bardstown. Named in honour, after William and David Bard. The land known as Bardstown today was granted to David Bard by the governor of Virginia. Originally named Salem, Settlement began in the 1770s. In 1780 William Bard, David's brother, laid out Bardstown on the site. It became the county seat when Nelson county, Virginia was formed in 1784. Here you will trying Kentucky beer cheese, with pretzels and on top of loaded nachos; paired with Scouts top selling beer Ol’ Buddy.
