Your kite discovery course will allow you to receive a first taste of what kite boarding is about. There is very little theory, meaning that you will go directly into the water to immediately have fun. At first, you will fly a small kite to understand where and how it flies. You will then set up a bigger kite together with your guides, who will also tell you about the various different equipment that you will be using.
Next, you will be shown how the safety elements work so you can enter the water and enjoy yourself safely. You will then be taught how to control the kite by doing exercises such as relaunching the kite, performing a “figure 8”, and body dragging.
The course lasts for 2-hours, and at the conclusion of the course, you will receive an internationally-recognized certificate from the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation).
