  • Infants, children and youths are welcome on the tour but be aware that it is designed with adults in mind, and they might get a little bored or find the walk tiring if they are very young!
  • Important to note - The tour involves around a 5k walk. It is at a relaxed pace, and there are numerous rests and places to sit down along the way. We go up and down some stairs and very slight inclines to reach our foodie destinations.

The tour meets here for introductions and the guide ts everyone know what to expect on the day. You will have a short history of Chester and hear a few of Chester's stories on the way to our first food stop
Eastgate & Eastgate Clock

You hear about the history of the clock and there are photo opportunities, followed by a talk from a lcoal producer and a chance for samples
Chester Roman Amphitheatre

We reach the amphitheatre from Chester's walls and take in the Roman gardens, an open air museum, where there will be photo opportunities. The tour guide will tell you some fascinating information about the Romans and the surrounding area before we move on to our next foodie stop.
