Satoko Hirano Born in Fukushima, JapanJapanese cooking teacher in Chiba. She started teaching cooking more than ten years ago in her home kitchen. She spent her childhood surrounded by beautiful kimonos at her grandfather's kimono store. Her grandmother, who was a very good cook, cooked for her family every day using only seasonal ingredients with kimono on. Satoko inherited the way her grandmother and her mother cooked, preparing dishes using seasonal local ingredients. In Japan there are exactly four seasons. They cherish the ingredients that are available at that time, and create dishes that are born from wisdom and ingenuity.She personally feels very attracted to it, and even after leaving Fukushima, I continue to visit nearby farmers to learn more.
