The Pillones Waterfalls are a breathtaking natural spectacle near Arequipa. This hidden treasure offers a series of majestic waterfalls, surrounded by lush vegetation and unique rock formations, creating a serene and picturesque environment perfect for exploring and enjoying nature.

Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. and start our trip to the Pillones waterfalls.

On the way, we will make stops in the villages of Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi, giving you the opportunity to enjoy breakfast on your own.

Around 10:30 am, we will arrive at the starting point for a downhill hike of approximately one hour to the renowned waterfalls.

Prior to our encounter with the Pillones Waterfalls, we will marvel at the numerous rocks sculpted by erosion over time. We will navigate these intriguing formations until we reach the waterfall, taking precautions on this challenging route.

Once in front of the falls, you will be able to capture stunning photographs, delight in the warm weather and admire the rich regional flora and fauna. Take the opportunity to have fun posing in front of the camera imitating the various shapes of the surrounding stones, from prehistoric animals to curious faces.

Do you know the Imata stone forest? After exploring the waterfalls, we will venture into this peculiar enclave to discover its unique natural environment.

Afterwards, we will make a stop in the village of Imata to enjoy lunch on your own before starting our return trip. We expect to arrive at your hotel in Arequipa around 5:00 pm.
