Located in Lugar de Baixo, 15 km from Funchal, the Museum is organised to offer you a complete sensory experience of Madeira banana production.

At the Madeira Banana Museum - BAM we work hand in hand with farmers to boost, rehabilitate, adapt, modernise and promote Madeira banana research and experimentation. Discover experimental fields, innovative banana bunch transport systems and greenhouses with the latest technology.

The bar offers a tasting service while you enjoy the view of our banana plantations.
