La Coca Falls, the first spectacular feature upon entering El Yunque National Forest, welcomes visitors with an 85-foot (26-meter) drop. A huge rock formation at the falls' base offers an ideal photo opportunity. Yokahu Tour offers panoramic views of the coast and rainforest canopy from its 98 steps, a favourite stop for visitors along road 191. Bano Oro, a man-made stone dam with an 18-foot (5.4-meter) deep pool, was built for recreation in 1936. Though no longer for swimming since 1976, it remains a beautiful spot filled with water from an upper branch of La Mina River. Puente Roto is a popular water play area, offering swimming in a natural rainforest river. While no trails currently exist, the road provides easy hiking access to the river corridor.
