What you can expect
Starting from the Vallone dei Mulini we will delve into the morphological and geological part of the city, and then move on to the historic centre, passing through the famous Piazza Tasso. We will visit the Sedil Dominova, the ancient seat of the city's nobles, and then delve into the production of the famous Sorrento inlay and the production of limoncello, the type of Sorrento liqueur. We will then go down to the fishing port and go back up to visit the Cloister of San Francesco to conclude with a tasting of limoncello and limoncello cream in a partner shop.
Extremely important note: The tasting is a break offered free of charge by a partner shop to understand the organoleptic qualities of limoncello and have the opportunity to purchase local products. Since it is a tasting gift from a partner shop, no additional costs are charged and all products are free. To keep the cost of the tour competitive, it is not a food tour, nor does it represent a tour in which part of the cost concerns the food part being only a pleasant break before the visit of the Cathedral offered by our producer friends.
For those interested in further information on the history of the city at the end of the Tour, after the 2 hours, it will be possible to visit the Cathedral of Sorrento or the church of Sant'Antonino (depending on closing times). Consider 15/20 minutes to visit the church, for a total tour of 2.15/2.20 hours.
For the Sunday morning tour (10.00) and for the 6.30pm (everyday) tour it will not be possible to visit the final Church because of the celebrations.
