This full day tour offers you a chance to explore the hidden charm of Vientiane, an ancient city situated by the mighty Mekong. Joining this tour, you will have a comprehensive understanding of Laos generally and Vientiane particularly by visiting the city’s historic temples and national monuments as well as the Buddha Park, a traditional weaving village and a local morning market.

This full day tour takes you to some destinations. The time in each destination can be flexible as your request as long as it doesn’t affect the whole plan.

At 8.00 am, you will be greeted and picked up at your hotel’s lobby. Then, you will be driven to the first destination of the tour Wat Sisaket, the most ancient temple and one of the most popular points in Vientiane. Coming here, you will see thousands of tiny Buddha images and rows with hundreds of seated Buddha made of different sizes and materials. So, there are more than 8000 Buddhas in total. Your next spot is Ho Prakeo which was the former temple of Emerald Buddha statue and now it houses all Buddha statues, artefacts and antiques found around Vientiane.

At 10.00 am, you will reach That Luang stupa which is widely known as the national symbol and the most important monument in Laos. Here, you will be impressed by the Laos beautiful architecture style which is influenced by Buddhist beliefs.

Leaving That Luang, you will be involved in the local’s life by visiting the local morning market Talaat Sao. Here, you will see a wide range of traditional handicraft products made by the local such as silk weaving, wooden carving pieces, etc.

Your lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

Following the morning excursion and short rest, at 1.00 pm you will continue the afternoon programme by visiting other famous spots including the Buddha Park with a large number of Buddha statues with different shapes and sizes and the traditional weaving village, Ban Nong Bouthong.

Then, you will enjoy the scenic landscape of the sunset when walking along the Mekong River. Don’t forget to keep your camera handy to capture these beautiful images.

At 4.00 pm, you will be driven back to your hotel and the tour ends.
