Tour description: The tour will start with pick up from the port of Civitavecchia. A Professional English-speaking Driver with a private vehicle will be waiting for you right outside the ship, holding a sign with your name on to be easily recognised. He will be with you during the entire day. Start your 2-hour drive to Montecassino, observing the landscape as you go. Upon your arrival, begin a self-guided tour of the Abbey of Montecassino, one of the best-known Abbeys in the world.  Admission Not Included.
Monte Cassino Polish War Cemetery

Visit to the Polish War Cemetery Work on the construction of the cemetery began in 1944, shortly after the end of hostilities, and was finished in 1946. The official consecration, however, took place on 1 September 1945 during a multi-faith celebration conducted according to the rites of the Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and Jewish faiths, and was attended by representatives of the Polish Government-in-Exile and of Allied Command.

The Parco della Memoria Storica (History Memorial Park) contains the ruins of the village, still laying as they were at the end of the war.
