Using a trawl Net
We will use a large trawl net to trawl through the shallow waters along the coastline. This net helps us capture and observe a wide variety of marine life, offering a unique glimpse into the underwater world.

Magnifying Jars and Identification Cards
Magnifying jars allow us to examine our smaller catches up close, while identification cards help us recognise and learn about the different species of animals, plants, and shells we find.

Animals and Plants You Might Encounter
Starfish: These fascinating echinoderms come in various shapes and sizes.
Crabs: We will discover different types of crabs, from the small shore crab to the larger North Sea crab.
