I introduce my partner to get your guide and it was a bad first impression as he said it was basically just a bus ride with no input during the bus trip or anything beyond dropping off and the ride back to Sofia. what additional added value did get your guide provided beyond just bus which we could have arranged ourselves.

While the time spent in Plovdiv was enjoyable, we spent most of the time on the bus which was not a great experience, especially on our way back during which the air conditioning wasn't working properly. Since seat numbers are not allocated in the bus, I recommend going early to the bus to grab seats of your preference. The walking tour through Plovdiv was interesting and enjoyable.

The trip in general was good, but the guide was not so. Too much unnecessary information and it lasted longer than advertised. Too much of a history dumping and too little of interesting facts. I’d also appreciated more that guide was with us in the bus and talked about history on the drive there so we would have more free time in the Plovdiv. I understand we could have chosen tour without the guide, but nonetheless, the tour was too long and too exhausting.

our guide was very enthusiastic, helpful and kind. she waited for is when we wandered off, and she recommended good places to eat. she told us interesting stories. this was the best day since we came to bulgaria, we recommend it to everyone🦋

It's a nice little town with interesting historic places. Our guide showed us some and explained a lot. And we also had much time for exploring on our own. Sadly, it rained the entire day. It's a pretty long drive. If that's worth the visit, has everybody to decide for themselves.

We chose the self guided audio tour, which is essentially just a web-based site which needed internet to work correctly. It worked ok, but it wasn’t worth the extra €5 per person just for that. Other than that the bus guide was great, and Plovdiv is an amazing place, the price for the bus there and back was good, but I recommend either get the tour guided visit or just transport, not the smart audio guide which you can find similar free apps easily on the internet.

Everything worked out fine for the tour. I was impressed with the tour guide her local knowledge was excellent. I enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to travel to Plovdiv. However our bus registration number CB2185KE did not have very good aircon. It was quite warm inside. We requested the bus driver to turn on the aircon but he said it was at maximum.
