Worst experience ever! I made the booking for 10.10 am. Upon reaching at the venue, I got told that the ticket was for 9.20 am! The customer care of getyourguide asked me to "insist" them to let me enter! In the end, they did not let me board and cancelled my ticket. My whole day got ruined. I NEED THE REFUND!

I wasn't sure what to expect from Alcatraz as it didn't feature that highly on my own personal activities for my trip but my son was keen, so we went. I genuinely found it really interesting and engaging. The in person tour was well done and Brian was great to listen to. The audio tour was professional and engaging. We got very lucky with the weather on the Bay Cruise too and that was definitely a highlight of our trip.

The flexibility of the schedule. More information on Bay Cruise. Does it need to be taken on the same day? Information seemed to indicate it could be taken any time.

Great tour of San Francisco Bay going including going under the Golden Gate Bridge Alcatraz Tour is guided audio and very good - it was a prison of course so a little morbid but fascinating all the same You have to take a ferry across to the island

I highly recommend going to Alcatraz. It was a very interesting / moving experience. We were also lucky enough to be there on the day that William Baker was there who is the last Alcatraz member alive; he was there signing books. The boat ride over was smooth with amazing views. The only thing is we didn’t stop at pier 39 to see the seals which was apart of the description so that was annoying. Overall, it was a good experience.

Over packed like sardines. The boat broke down twice. There were literally 800 people on the boat. I wish I called the fire department. It felt unsafe. August 2024
