First and central stop of this tour is the Green Market just next to out meeting point. A market where farmers from the surrounding villages sell their home-made products. There you will try local traditional food such as prosciutto, cheese, soparnik, etc.
On the walk to our next bite, we will stop at the imperial square Peristyle inside Diocletian's Palace, where you will have the opportunity to hear from your guide about the history of our city.
After that, we take you to a rare place to eat in the centre of Split that has kept its authentic charm and that the locals have never stopped coming to and there you will try burek. Burek is layers of filo pastry containing savoury fillings wrapped in a spiral and baked in a hot oven and you will be able to try minced meat and cheese filling.
Our next stop is the Split fish market where you will be able to feel the passion and buzz of this typical Mediterranean place.
As you walk from place to place, the guide tells you about the gastronomic habits of the local population, the history of the city and the influence of various cultures on our local gastronomic offer.
Our last stop is a family shop specialising in traditional local sweet products. We hope you will enjoy homemade Fritula :)
