"We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. "The manager and staff were super nice which is really what made our stay. They went over and beyond to make us comfortable. The facilities are average but some of it does need an update as the A/C units are really loud and the curtains aren't in great condition. Also the Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms and so to use Wi-Fi you need to go to the common area which in the evenings gets a TON of mosquitoes so that wasn't idea. But the pool was nice and landscaping was well-maintained. "

"Vi brugte hotellet som base for en safari i Yala National Park. Stedet er familiedrevet og med en meget hjælpsom og omsorgsfuld ejerinde. Vores værelse havde udsigt over rismarkerne, hvor der altid var aktivitet, både af mennesker, dyr og fugle. Stedet er rustikt men med alle nødvendige faciliteter i god stand. "basic guesthouse with 5 rooms and a communal room. bed was alright and came with clean bathroom. recommended to pay extra for the air con (which didn’t seem available as an option during booking) as it was really hot when we visited and the room was stuffy after awhile. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive.
