"This is a lovely property near Fanning Springs. The owners were responsive & phoned to make sure everything was in order. The home is extremely comfortable, convenient to Hwy 19, location was perfect. I usually stay in Gainesville when traveling to this area to stay in a hotel, and I’m so glad this popped up on Expedia & I found Tranquil Oaks. I’ll be back when in area. Clean, well lit, peaceful, well stocked, easy entry. Thank you! "

Our hosts, Ian and Darrin were so attentive and offered many extras right down to the morning coffee and purified water. Cedar Key offers many reasons to return and Firefly Cottages is one of them. "The communication was great with staff and our stay was great. Clean house, easy parking, quiet stay. The boat parking and ramp next to complex made getting out to scallop easier than fighting the crowds and the extra distance to the gulf was definitely not that bid of a deal. Great stay overall!"
