"Beware. We booked a “deluxe double room”. Our room was dirty, tiny (zero room to open luggage), and had an extremely steep ladder to the sleeping loft. None of these are shown in website pics. The mosquito net has large holes and doesn’t even fit over the mattress. We left to a clean and spacious room in another hotel for *less money*. Kent reimbursed us only half. I think he fully expects people to leave these “deluxe doubles” and then rebooks the rooms, bringing in extra income this way. ...

"Check in was simple, accomodating and hospitable. The place was elegant and very nicely decorated, clearly well-thought out. It had a lot of history. The room was smaller than I expected. The bed and bedding was comfortable and clean. The crew were very helpful and quick.
