I stayed at this hotel for eight days. I had prepaid; otherwise, I would have left earlier. I had to change rooms three times. I planned to leave on a weekend, but the staff informed me that they were unable to process cancellations until Monday, forcing me to stay additional nights despite my discomfort.
When I first checked in, I was not given the double bed with a balcony that I had booked. The second room had a strong paint smell. The third room finally matched my booking—a double bed with a balcony—but had a musty air conditioning smell.
The main issue was the noise. The neighbors played loud music at 1:30 AM. The nearby train station, rather than being convenient, was disruptive due to frequent train horns sounding late into the night. The roads were extremely noisy as well. I had to attempt sleeping with earbuds and bulky noise-canceling headphones, yet I still couldn’t get more than four hours of rest per night.
Adding to the disturbance, I could hear dogs fighting outside at midnight, further contributing to the already overwhelming noise levels.
I had a second booking for additional guests but decided to cancel it and switch to an Airbnb. This was a much better decision, as I was finally able to sleep and found it to be a better overall experience.
On a positive note, the shower was good, though the first room I was given had a cracked showerhead. Cleanliness was acceptable, and the staff was generally good. However, due to the noise the overall is poor.
