"Staff went over and above to meet our every need. We walked 3-4 miles a day throughout the historic district and felt completely safe. There are many lovely restaurants and shops a short walk away. We hope to return next year. Merida is a gem!"

"Awesome location on a pretty beach with surreal sunrises and moonrises. The location is quiet and restful. Our room was very practical with a small fridge, drinking water, and A/C.The shower was tiny with dismal water pressure. Breakfast was perfect for us. It consisted of some sweet bread, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and coffee with a tropical breeze and a wonderful view. We enjoyed the beach and took advantage of the free use of a kayak. "This hotel is amazing. The uniqueness and character of the building make it worthwhile. The staff is also amazing. Daisy at the front desk made it even more special. The only issue is that the Wifi in the rooms didnt connect to the internet. The one in the restaurant did though."

"Pool and natural water oil could use some cleaning, especially the natural pool, too much algae to get in the steps, but can view some tropical fish. The included breakfast was good."
