"Amazing house to stay in, would highly recommend for the experience. It was very comfortable with all the expected amenities. The host was also lovely and gave a few local restaurant recommendations to us. It’s about 25-30 minutes walk from the castle & station, although very easy to get taxis if it’s later in the evening. There are a few good coffee shops within 10 minutes walk also. "

"We love our stay at Kazueya! It gave us a chance to truly experience the ryokan and how locals live. We especially enjoyed the peaceful night in our surroundings :) In addition, one of the staffs (a young lady) at Pacific hotel was super helpful. Due to the language barrier, she helped me to get bus tickets to shirakawago and to Takayama. I can't thank her enough for that! "A truly unique experience. Our gracious hostess, Ms. Fujita, welcomed us with freshly prepared matcha and mochi. The machiya is spacious, spotless, and has very comfortable beds and futons.
