"We were on the 9th floor and even though I had ear plugs in I was woken by the sound of the wind. I thought it was sirens it was so loud. The bathroom mirror was old and looked dirty because it was so worn. It was priced right and maybe would stay again on a lower floor if in the Fall"

"The staff at Belltown were always attentive, friendly, and responsive to questions and needs. They gave great insight to local activities and restaurants. The location was great - easily walkable to Pike Place and other fun downtown spots. My biggest complaint was that there was too much activity outside each day and night. In addition to the number of people moving around, many of them were loud and that was easily heard through the walls. "

"Lovely boutique hotel. Very clean and comfortable. I was on the second floor, so there was some street noise. Gym looked dark and cavernous, so I did not use it. But otherwise, I really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again. Cafe in the lobby was nice also."

"We were only in Seattle for one night but our stay at the State Hotel made it a real treat. The hotel itself is gorgeous and looks to be newly renovated. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The artwork and wallpaper throughout the hotel are a nice touch. The restaurant downstairs, Ben Paris is delightful, and a nice spot for dinner or drinks. (Recommend going early if you want to get in on weekend brunch, it’s very busy) The hotel is a block away from Pike Place and within...

"The customer service is excellent and they were very accommodating. We came into town earlier than expected and they allowed us to check in early with no extra charge. The area isn’t the best but we felt safe. The room was clean and smelt nice. My only complaint is the room had no outlets! The bathroom had no outlets. There were two outlets next to the bed with the lamps but no Mirror. It made getting ready more difficult. "

"This is a strange hotel to review - once a grand building, now very tired. The room we had was spacious but it took 5 mins to get in and out as the key was temperamental. I had to show ladies a few doors down how to operate theirs, too (so not just us). One socket in the whole room. The tiny reception wasn't manned very often. The area outside was ropey (didn't feel safe unless accompanied) but I have to say, the location of the hotel is great for visiting Pikes Market etc."
