"It is placed in a quiet neighborhood which was nice, but a little far from convenience stores etc. I went by car, so there was no problem, they got Parking outside which was free. Everything was pretty good, staff was friendly, not a lot of guests which was nice, and the garden inside was insta worthy. Only thing was the shared bathroom, guess we can't do anything about that."

"Beautiful hotel, but it was a bit of a walk from the bus station if you’re going into Hakone. Be sure to call the hotel to have a shuttle pick you up from the nearest shuttle stop, which is down the hill from the property. Stuff that was super nice although they didn’t know too much about the tourist bus lines-recommend getting a hug Kone 1 to 3 day pass if you’re staying longer. "The stay was super amazing from the get go. The hotel staff being the limelight, from when we entered the hotel till we exited, they were nothing less than fantastic, polite, efficient and courteous. In terms of the property itself, really amazing rooms, you can book your own private onsen, dinner and breakfast are included and they were very adjusting of our dietary restrictions (including vegetarian). We didn't even notice how the day went by and our stay finished. I will highly recommend it...

"I really appreciate the staff's help with my special requests, professionalism and friendliness. The cherry blossom tree above at least the men's part of the outdoor bath was a nice touch, as was the free breakfast. The hotel facilities look quite new too. "Incredible hospitality and ryokan experience. Very traditional and a wonderful way to experience and appreciate Japan and Japanese culture (11th time here and have done ryokan before). "Beautiful hotel- lovely surroundings. Stayed in the corner room on the forest tower and the room was fantastic- lovely view. So nice to use the onsen on the sixth floor of this building.
