The room had no window/ natural light and was bare. We didn't warm to the style although I'm sure others may find it quirky and different."

Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Inexpensive taxi / tuk-tuk ride into the city. Comfortable small lobby area. CONS: Not in the downtown area, so you just can't go out and walk around. Very no-frills rooms, just a typically hard Thai bed, wall mounted TV and small table on the porch area. Bathrooms...
