"Have stayed many times but first visit since pool installation and hotel extension. The dining facilities are very good indeed with excellent waiting staff who really know their worth. Dog friendly too with good walking for dog in the grounds. All in all a must visit destination."

"I took a side trip to Châteauroux between matches of the World Cup Soccer tournament so I could spend two days visiting the Brenne Nature Reserve. Of the six hotels I’ve stayed at on this trip, this one has been easily the best. Terrific hosts, good breakfast and dinner service, and a top-rate room at a very reasonable rate. A good walkable location in the city center as well."

"We arrived very late without having called first.The hotel reception was closed but there was a phone beside it. A kind gentleman answered and informed that room was ready with door left unlocked and key on the bed. The hotel has a quaint feel to it. The room was slightly fusty but roomy for three and comfortable. Lovely sound of crickets and frogs when you open the window."

"Mauvaise surprise en voulant ouvrir la fenêtre de ma chambre : impossible de relever le store coulissant; une perche cassée pour ouvrir la fenêtre oscillo-basculante. Montée sur une chaise, je parviens à l'ouvrir… sur un mûr, à 60 cm du rebord de ma fenêtre. Personne ne m'avait prévenue! Dommage, il faisait beau! Je n'ai pas vu le ciel. Chambre et SDB propres et isolation phonique satisfaisante"
