"I enjoyed my stay. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The garden is lovely, and being on the river felt like a true taste of Thailand. There are night markets with a wide selection of goods and delicious street foods within easy walking distance. There's a very nice, reasonably priced Thai restaurant less than a block away and a terrific supermarket just down the street with every food item you might desire. "When we arrived it was difficult to find anyone. It certainty wasn't a hotel, rather a very basic hostel, and the inside had painted concrete floors. Not like the photos on hotels.com. I found Boyd who was friendly, but said "we stopped using hotels.com months ago as they sold the rooms too cheap. Ask them for a refund and pay me cash, but we don't have rooms like the photos, I show you on my motorbike". He showed me another building with basic bunk beds and shared bathroom.
