"The food was excellent. Our favorite was the Mexican restaurant. The resort was extremely clean. They were even painting one of the buildings as im sure they constantly have to do. Having the resort located just a block away from 5th Ave was wonderful and convenient for nightly walks. The entertainment was very provocative and would have preferred something a little bit more wholesome "

"We just spent a fabulous 2weeks at Riu Palace Las Americas. The buffet was the best of all options. Room service was great! The only problem was the girl who MC'd the evening shows didn't speak clear English so we couldnt understand her. We stopped going to the shows. That was so frustrating. They really need to replace her. For that reason only, we wouldn't go back there. "

"The room was excellent. Although....a real door to the bathroom would have been appreciated. The glass door that doesn't go to the floor seems like an odd 'privacy' compromise. Service at the VIP restaurant was inconsistent, from excellent to average The beach is beautiful and great for long walks, but the water is tough to swim. "We had a very nice stay here. We found that it was suited more towards families and there wasn’t too much for adults to do. Property itself was beautiful and clean. Food was good just wished there was more variety. "

"We took a vacation for Valentine’s Day and had a blast at the RIU Santa Fe all inclusive! They have spacious rooms with mini bar amenities (soda, water, beer and tequila dispenser). They have multiple pools, loved the ones by the beach as you can catch the sunset, watch the yachts and have a drink in the swim up bars. We also attended the pool parties, shows, night club and went on the water slides. Over all a great stay, we really didn’t have to leave as the food was great, drinks were strong...
